I hate redstone so much right now.
In case you were wondering it's the interiors to a pseudo-clock which goes off of light level.

Well I meant that the roof couldn't be at the stone brick level because of the repeater and redstone above it, but whatever. The redstone one lower would still be a problem in that scenario, anyway.
