It looks good, but kinda dark.  I like it a lot though.  Is it a font you edited with effects or did you make the letters by hand?

Well it is my Steam avatar. I made it from the ground up with render tools in GIMP and text tool along with various other filters in GIMP.

TL;DR you used GIMP? I don't know much about GIMP so that's about all I get out of that. I was thinking of pictures, so I could understand how it came out like that.
