Ok well server is down. I must say, this has been one of my most successful servers so far. I learned a good deal about the current balance of the mods. Here are some notes:
Bugs Team:
-Bug: Plays exactly how I want it to.
-Mite: I'm still thinking about buffing the attack damage slightly (currently it deals 12 damage), but buffing the mite too far will certainly make it OP.
-Big Bug: Easily the worst class on the server. I'm going to buff the run and especially the jump.
-Poison Mite: Can't say much of anything till poison is finished. It's useless without poison.
-Worm: Might possibly have too much health, it's really hard to say. what do you guys think?
-Caterpillar: Overall these guys preformed poorly, but that's expected because they are far from finished. The acid needs a small speed buff, and I might give it a short lived poison that will deal screen shake and a small amount of damage.
-Earwig: These things preformed very well, but it's not quite how I want them to be. Eventually the high damage of the pincer will be swapped for a grab ability. This will allow the Earwig to throw enemies over edges and at walls. I might also give the Earwig a weak flying ability.
MAS Team:
-ScarabWasps: They seems rather OP, but it's hard to say which part of them should be nerfed. Maybe the speed?
-Magma Exosuit: Quite OP, but that's understandable because the limiting functions haven't been added yet (Heat from the Plasma Cutter, modified booster.
-Other classes: I plan to create a custom playertype for these guys. It will more easily take falling damage among other things. Currently jumping off buildings is a bit too common.
Arachnids Team:
-Tick: I reeeally need to nerf the health. Of course they aren't quite done yet (they need their latch-and-suck-juice ability), but nerfing the health goes without saying.
-Spider: They are bad without poison.
-Vein Spider: They are absolutely useless without poison!
-Jumping Spider: They seemed very strong, but not quite OP (Though they will certainly be OP once poison is added again). I think a health nerf is in order here. Just a slight one though.
-Sand Parasite: I am very pleased with how these guy's preform. They do seem under-powered most of the time, but I believe this is because not everyone uses them correctly (as an assassin class). I saw some cases were they tore everything apart (Skyra got me real good at one point too :X). They are difficult to play as, but once played correctly they are very rewarding... which is EXACTLY how I intend them to be. :)
-Scorpion: Not nearly as strong as they are supposed to be, but that's because of the lack of poison. I think they are perfectly balanced.
My Secret Team:
-I do not intend to reveal any secrets, but I will say that this server really helped determine the correct balance for the classes of this "team". C:
