Is there seriously no way to mass buy on ps3, or am I going to have to keep buying each bullet one buy one? I've tried spam hitting x and tried holding it down. Dunno what else there could be?

You dont even need that to duplicate money.

Get a stack of 100 silver coins and shift click it into the trash slot. Then you can craft a gold coin out of it and the 100 silver coins will stay in the trash. Simply remove the 100 coins back into your inventory and repeat.

or more legitimately:

while obsidian is of no value to the merchants, obsidian skulls are worth 1/2 a gold, or 50 silver.
250 obsidian = 12 (.5) obsidian skulls = 6 gold coins
