There are certain restrictions that will always get in the way of Blockland videos. There are few ways to get around things like that in certain scenes. As the director of the video, I just tend to hope the audience enjoys the video rather than is petty enough to get a hang up over a minor drawback that the little lego-based figures impose.

That's because everyone uses Blockland for filming. Animation would solve a lot of problems with Blockland and can be done in Blender.
