The battlegroups hae returned to their harbors, but, a war game is going to take place in about a week.
38 donated and retired civillian and military vessels will play the part of the Navy of the fictional nation "Bear Claw". Remote-controlled Harrier aircraft will be the aerial targets, and 2 of the "enemy" ships, large cargo ships, will be converted into aircraft carriers, but with only the flight deck and a ski-ramp to help in take-off, and an arresting wire for landing. Guns will be on the ships but they will fire blanks. The FWN will use live rounds, and temporary sensors will be fitted onto the ships to indicate when they are hit. The admiral stated that "Even though this will cost roughly 45,000 FWD, it will help the Navy be prepared if a real threat arrives."
The ships will take part in defense and offense operations, and all of the navy will be involved. Including the super carrier FWN America.
