Is there any way you can go down in rank? I wouldn't want to, but I was wondering if you ever do.

I thought I mentioned that earlier..

The only way that you can get demoted from a tier is from LP decay, which is caused by inactivity in ranked queues. There's a (1 week?) notice before the decay begins.

but seriously, bought ga so i'd protect my kda and never popped it... one of the most weird roflstomps i've had in awhile, lanes started absolutely normally except for me maintaining a small cs lead on ez and then maokai ganked once and this happened

I have ~7,000 games played, are you sure about that?

That calculates to ~26 weeks in-game play going by the average game length.
