Is they're a way to turn off the gravity, while in the space maps?

You can type /setGravity 0 to turn off gravity completely, but I think you mean turn gravity to normal, which would be /setGravity 1

Ok I put all the skyboxes plus the CrouchDrop mod all into one file: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/20459676/SkyBoxes/Sky_SpacePack.zip
I also reduced the force of the drop to balance it and made it only usable while one of the space environments is active.

You still need Server_MapProperties for that to work.

I seem to be having problems where if I change the visibility distance to long/short, the sides of the skybox become very noticeable and the skybox kind of "stretches"

The sky box stretches?  Ok that's just weird and probably not my fault.  I have never experienced that myself however.  Could you post a picture or something?

These look really good.

also, the corners and edges of the map faces are very noticeable, especially when you zoom in.

huh that's werid.  On mine, only two of the eight corners I would really consider visible on high texture quality, but that stretching thing based on render distance might have something to do with this:

I would post that in the bug thread in the development forum

Planning to add any more sky boxes?

I was going to do maybe an under the sea sort of skybox that made it so you could go up with space and go down with shift, but I ate a muffin instead.  I might do some different versions of the first SPAAAAAAACE skybox since I found out you actually can't have the sun under the map when you go to advanced controls.  Probably one without a star in the skybox, and then include that as the sun flare instead or something.  Then a different one with a planet below instead of the star.

In the meantime, you can download the bottom skybox picture here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=206280.0;attach=185062

replace the picture with the star in it with that one in the zip file

The spacepack has been updated
New features include:
 - /togGround command
 - automatically makes ground invisible when you switch to a space map
 - fixed problem with gravity zone placement
 - added more A's to SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE (notrly)

You can download the new version in the OP or by clicking here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/20459676/SkyBoxes/Sky_SpacePack.zip

Please note that individual maps do not include these new features.
Get it here early before it gets approved on RTB because the forums are bonerific

Edit: stuff I totally flubbed that rtb update, submitted it as an edit and it still shows up as v1 and pending approval asdf

These look really nice. Good job!

Okay, I really want to show off what the environmental properties loader can do, so I'm opening this up for community content.

If someone has some cool looking space ships or maybe a floating island, I can make builds auto load and unload with the changing of skyboxes.
Post some saves if you would like to be included.  I will probably be able to include many different files and have it load one randomly in a random location if I get enough submissions.  Heck I could even have it load multiple saves at once in different locations, like random asteroid field generation.

Looking for
 - Anything space themed (not necessarily futuristic)
 - Alien landscapes (but remember it should be 3D and include an underside)

I'll make this part of the NARG awards to see who can submit the best content.

Note: Comrade I know you have some nice ships but I believe the brickcount on those is considerably higher than the target brickcount of under 5k bricks
