You're assuming that the outside communities would remain docile and cooperative after an oppressive government collapsed.  There's no way in hell, that they would remain peaceful.  They would do whatever they want.

Second, there is now no central economy.  Money lost its worth, so why purchase food.

Factor 3:  If money has no value, then people would steal the food, and farmers would not produce except for themselves.  If people looted the farms even if the farmers remained cooperative, then they would give up shortly after because their food is being stolen, rather than being given/sold to anyone who is willing to buy/trade for it.

Unlike the barbaric peoples of the main city, the people outside of the city are still civilized, as detailed in one of the above posts.  Military bases outside in small communities keep the peace in small civilizations ruled by the current CO, and the farmers supply them with food, and they don't necessarily have to sell it.  You don't know if these people are generous or greedy, you don't loving decide how it works.

Herpa, feel free to keep this one going. I only created 6.0 so we could continue on from previous threads rather than start over, and plus too this one has been pretty successful with a staggering 200 pages.

However I remember and I'm getting the feeling again of the stress to maintaining an OP plus playing a nation, so I completely understand if you want to devote your time to other things, just didn't want this thread to die on my accord.

It practically died already.  It's just Erinaum, Kintharia and Telar left.

If Herpa chooses not to participate, then I might integrate Rovercia into Erinaum.

If that becomes the case, I might make PHMA one massive empire, with the permission of Plethora, and co-rule it with him.  Just maybe.
