Everytime I try and use blender I get overwhelmed by all those buttons and stuff on there, the only thing I have ever made on blender is a mess of deformed boxes

I can only make boxes/cubes on blender I wish someone from Blockland made a Tutorial for Blender.

What about the BOUNDS box? Just put it where the closed part of the door would be in each blb?

BOUNDS defines the bounding box of the whole brick. It should encompass the whole thing.

This probably won't work but hey..

Okay, I've created a test 2x2x2 brick. It turned out it was a little off scale, and when I stepped on it, it made me stay there until I deleted it. Is there a certain collision thing or position for it to be put in? Little help?

Doing the same thing ZanFran is doing, cept it's a model instead.
I checked the file, and the size of the brick was....
Astronomical.
So I fixed it.
edit-size is fixed, but the brick isn't showing up ingame.
little help?

I would strongly recommend against using Sketchup to make bricks.  It creates tons of unnecessary faces, which can be avoided by using Blender or another program.
If you're lazy, buy Milkshape.

If you have a steep learning curve (you can learn how to use something complex relatively quickly) then use Blender.

Text in the .blend would explain that.
I think it's Z Up and Y Forward instead of Y Up and -Z Forward!

A brick is 0.5x0.5x0.6  There shouldn't be any "almost" about it.

That should be right. I was told a brick was 1.0x1.0x1.2, that turned out to be a 2x2x2 brick. The positioning was wrong, is there a specific place to put it in the blender grid?

SketchUp is horrible for making BLBs. Try Blender.
All the blbs I have ever made were designed with Sketchup. I personally don't think they came out that bad...
