George Washington also advised in that same farewell address to continue the small countries policy of isolationism. If we would have stayed out of foreign affairs I do believe our country would be nowhere near the state it is in to this day.
Honestly I don't think that is possible anymore, especially since we are by no means a "small country".Also, that bill ^ will never pass.
If all the troops were in the country, we would defend better and we would stay out of the business of the other countries we're in.They don't necessarily want us there, anyways.
