Go to the link to see the mysterious and spooky boss, as well as pictures of my skeleton self.

Nice job! The more publicity the better!

An idea I just thought up of, but what about an "arcade" style mode. You know, like how arcade machines are. They are super fast and hard so that you put more money in and spend more time. Players could get a set amount of lives (and respawn a few seconds later after dying) and can earn more lives with more kills/points. The game could maybe run a little faster just for the faster paced action similar to an arcade machine, but enemies a little tougher also.

I am spooked

why are the boss' hands backwards

How else can he properly make gang signs

also thank you for adding sir skelton john

Suggestion: Time crunch mode

You only have so much time to complete levels, you can do stuff to earn more time. Gotta go fast.

Thanks, people really seemed to dig it at the show it was a great feeling.

That sounds really cool, especially for something like an expo just a super fast mode. Right now I need to concentrate on the core experience of the game but that sounds like it'd definitely be worth adding in the future.

You have named that boss, congratulations. Need to make some super cinematic zelda style intro to that boss similiar to this,

Just picture the words "Sir Skelton John".

This and arcade mode sound super sweet, definitely need to keep these in mind for the future.

So the plan going forward in case anyone was wondering, is very simple.

  • Make game look and play better
  • Flesh out levels and item interactions much more, so like level themeing and spelunky/rogue style mystery stuff
  • Start planning on a kickstarter

I'm pretty excited for things so far though, should be an interesting month coming up.

It certainly all seemed tiring, but exciting to see so much interest.
I'm glad it went really well.

You might not have had a moment to take scope of it, but are you able to say if you were as popular as most stalls, or would you say more so?

I would say it was more popular, if only because of the four player support, more people got drawn in.

I was actually in a relatively poor location but people kept coming down.

The multiplayer is certainly a great deal of the appeal
It's just very socially satisfying
