I'm still alive, I've just been enjoying the last of the good weather and trying to skateboard as much as I can with my friends.

Considering how injured I was just a few months ago, I'm enjoying being able to move around as much as possible.

But pretty soon I have to start prepping things for PAX East, so expect me to have more updates after Halloween.

If you're heading to PAX East I may see you, assuming I have the money to attend by that time.

Just 117 days until pax east

Just 117 days until pax east
i'll start packing right away!!!

Look progress,

Messing around with a jungle theme for the second level set, should probably replace doors with something more forest-ish.

THE HYPE TRAIN HAS NO BREAKS

Maybe the doors for the jungle area could be vines/grass and dirt strung together to make an arch? Either that or what the doors are now, since the current ones make it look like some hidden abandoned village.

That could be cool, doors are really only useful for telling you if you've explored an area, so I could just make them vines that you break when you walk through.

I think this is a good idea. Also, happy 7th birthday.

Will the enemies in that area be jungle-themed too?

Or is it just for backdrop purposes?

Enemies are going to be jungle themed as well, the main feedback that I got from the boston fig showing was that people wanted heavier theming to help them realize their progress.

Thanks, as a clone they told me that I'd never live past 6 but I showed them!

For the purposes of reskinning, are those hanging vines separate models, or are they handled by making 2d sprites 1 pixel thick?

are you gonna do some "outside" dungeons too
