I was playing some demolition last night with a friend
I met this guy named ** no monitor ** and he had this weird accent, whenever he won a game, he said "you don't need a monitor to be global" and that was amazing
Also he was loving great at csgo

I once tried playing with my monitor off. I thought I made it to A but I was still in spawn when I turned my monitor back on.

Why are people demanding a tick rate of 128, as if it'll improve anything?
Isn't it something like 90% of PCs don't have the hardware or network connection to keep up with 128 ticks?

In terms of what these people mean, it refers to the amount of times the game will poll input devices during a specific length of time (usually a few milliseconds). I believe the idea people have is that a higher rate of ticking will improve their response times since the game could theoretically read their button presses faster.
Whoops, that's wrong and I feel like a twat. It's how many times the server is updated with information from your system about stuff like your position and if you're firing etc. It's measured per second, in hertz (similar to your monitor's refresh rate, except the two things are unreleated).
Valve currently use 64Hz. Idiots think that increasing the tick rate will improve things, when it fact it'll only stress hardware even more.
