what the forget are you talking about, connecting it to your router was hard to do for a loving 6 year old. you had to add the DS's mac address to the list, open the ports, and finally wait 20 minutes to find a battle in pokemon diamond

All DS systems have been able to connect with games via WiFi, but only the DSi and 3DS systems had integrated browsers.

The NDS and NDSL had to have this.

that would be a serious issue for me buying a system.

at least many of the games i would want to own have multiplayer related stuff to em.

As an owner of the 3DS, I want to give my most honest opinion. The 3DS is a piece of stuff in some ways and in some ways superior.

The good:

• 3D on a HANDHELD, why is that NOT awesome?
• Better online mechanics than the DS or DSi

The bad:

• 3D hurts your goddamn eyes
• Not many good titles for it if you like rehashes of old Nintendo games

The ugly:

• No loving ways of communication i.e. a PM system
• Lots of starfishs online

If Nintendo is going to advertise the stuff out of the mic, they should atleast add a voice chat feature when you're in your Friends List. P.M.s wouldn't really work.

Nintendo is discontinuing the wifi servers for games on the ORIGINAL DS/LITE systems and the NINTENDO WII system.

3DS and Wii U are fine though.

Yeah I know. I do the same with Pokemon X. But all 3DS/2DS owners should be able to private chat with a friend from the home menu. I mean, the Wii U does something like that.
