That feeling when you make a ship that does it's job well
Just made a lovey fighter using Azimuth Thrusters.
Does anyone know the mod that made most of the large ship blocks available for small ships?

I find it difficult to play this. The UI is a real turn-off and it feels uncomfortable to me.

maybe you'll be able to mod the UI eventually
if you can't already anyway

Yeah.

Another thing that bothers me is movement on the ground.

I can't move my mouse without the character fidgeting, which gets old really fast, and the abrupt running at full speed right off the bat is jarring as well.

Are there any plans for these mechanics to be changed?

not like that I'll tell you what

Lead developer Mark announced that the development team is going to work towards less features and more stabilization in a few weeks. They said 50/50 new features, and bug fixes; and once  they get in most of the features they wanted (since they already have most of their core) then they'll be at a feature freeze period where they will only work on bug fixes and optimization.

Sounds real good to me.

They are also having some contest where they want people to program game scenarios, which they're going to add to give the game more goals to achieve.

yaay

I didn't notice much optimization issues whenever I played it except for a weird lag issue sometimes

I know lots of people have problems though

my only issue is when playing is when with multiplayer you don't stick to the ship whenever someone else is driving it at high speeds :I

and perhaps little to no lag at all with large ships would be so nice  = u=)

Summary
Assemblers can now cooperate with each other (when enabled in terminal) by taking items from other assembler’s queue and help with transferring materials. Volumetric explosions have been also added; things hidden behind armor (or other blocks) will not get destroyed when the armor survives from the explosion. Additionally, players can now help each other with the new “welder option: help others” - welded blocks will not belong automatically to the player who is helping but to the owner of the ship.
