Honestly, this is where a lot of people start to dislike those of differing loveualities.
It's alright to have a different loveuality, and it's alright to be proud, but why do you have to keep reminding people of that fact? It's not something you see a lot of heteroloveuals do, even if they are proud of who they are.
And if calling yourself "ace" is your method of boosting your self-image, or showing your pride, it's a bit of a pathetic way of doing it.
first of all, aloveual and biloveual have the same number of syllables
and how does it "not quite work"??
"Bi" "Bi-loveual".
"Homo" "Homo-loveual"
"Hetero" "Hetero-loveual".
"Ace" "A-loveual".
It's not "Ace-loveual". It's like a half-rhyme, and it's jarring.
And yeah, Biloveual doesn't really need shortening either, but at least the contraction works.
You can't refer to an aloveual as an "A", but that doesn't mean that "Ace" works better.
