What is up with your avatar?

If you have an Xbox One, and plenty of digital downloads, and you're likely to be in a situation where you don't have an internet connection, then make sure you set your Xbox as your "Home Xbox".

If you go to Settings, there should be a button on the left-hand side underneath your Gamerpic and similar settings.

I'm back at uni now, and my Ethernet wallport is broken, so I don't have a wired connection to my Xbox.
And the wireless that the campus uses is on a security protocol that the Xbox One doesn't accept.

So, currently, I can't play any of my digitially purchased games. I only need to be connected to Xbox Live for like a minute in order to give my Xbox permission to let me play them. But I'm kind of stuck in offline mode until the uni gets to fixing my wallport. :c

do you have a spare laptop with a working wireless connection to the campus? if so you could tether your xbox one to that and then share the laptop's wifi connection with it.

Yeah, I attempted that at first, and it worked for ten minutes, and then the internet was lost.
And nothing I've done since has been able to get it back.

And stupidly at the point I tested that out, I didn't even know about the "Home Xbox" setting, so I didn't try to turn it on.
Instead I watched about 10 minutes of Star Trek Voyager on Amazon Prime Video. :Z

Everytime I've tried bridging or tethering, to my laptop or my mobile phone hotspot, I get no where. I just have a Type 3 Strict NAT, and that seemingly won't let me connect to Xbox Live.
I might even have internet connection during it, just not a connection to Xbox Live.

I'm thinking of getting Castle Crashers. Also, I've reached level 42 on Forxa Horizon 2.

Still sat here crying because I've only got 2 games I can play. ;-;

I did play a good amount of Assassin's Creed last night though.
I'm warming up to it more, but I must say, I am frustrated with the new Freerunning system.
Holding A/B to go up/down just makes it all the more awkward, IMO. And while I have fewer accidents where I accidentally jump off of the tallest tower in the game to my death, I get more moments where I run up to a ledge and then do forget all.

Also, I think I'm getting better at parrying. The warning to parry seems harder to see in this game than earlier ones, and it seems much more common that an enemy off screen attacks me and I don't block because I had no way of seeing it.
