The New Union continues to make efforts to bring its newer provinces into the general swing of things that the rest of the nation has as far as organization and such.  The local monarchies continue to support these efforts and as a result things continue to go over smoothly.

Development of the substance mentioned a while back, as well as methods for more effective use, continues.

Talks of the Ezbatan states uniting becomes a serious talk Ezbátu and its neighbors.  Ezbátu sends an envoy to Albhad to discuss the current relationship of the economy.

The Ezbatan States decide that it's current currency is too expensive to make, and too heavy to carry around—en masse, all-around unconventional.  The stone tablet money is quickly being replaced with paper money.  Additionally, a student at the Vålderesk school of Trade develops a new way of money transfer by allowing those who own the rights to an official seal may write the amount they like on a blank note, an place a wax seal on it to prove their identity, this document carrying the same value as its equal in paper money value, though with more security.  If the sender does not have a wax seal, they are unable to send funds by this method.

Alarms sound across the land as Wereu forces are spotted near the Wall of Ru. A force is dispatched to prevent the soldiers from infiltrating Rustuffe lands, while the majority of the armed forces remain in their positions around the perimiter of the nation in order to prevent other nations from sneaking in as well.
This event has been approved by Swat

The wall being strongly fortified becomes a clear dividing line between the troops, with the gates remaining shut thoroughly from the inside with not the faintest sign of wear from the daily onslaughts by Wereuan troops.

Kastwata archers equipped with a new bow design, utilizing longer solid planks of wood from the strong Rustuffe trees pressed together with bamboo cores for flexibility, which only the most skilled of archers could wield due to their size (being taller than the archers weilding them in some cases) and the difficulty in operating them. The advantage came in the range these bows allowed the archers, which gave them a clear volley over the wall in order to surpress the assault of enemy troops, allowing the lesser experienced bowmen equipped with basic crossbows to pick off the oncoming troops while stationed atop the walls.

And how exactly would this work?

And how exactly would this work?
It's checks.  Like as in you sign checks and send them to people, but you gotta cash them, of course.  They only work for sender to recipient transfer.

And how exactly would this work?

Its like a letter with a seal

but it gives you money

Thing called inflation.

And yet people don't have electronic banking accounts if they want to give a check far distance; this would HAVE to be done locally through one center or through some gay monopoly that doesn't have their money carrier robbed from bank to bank.

We really don't even have banks yet, lol.

Dude, this is exactly how the first banks started.

A Buddhist monk by the name Gungxi made all the difference when, fed up with the mistreatment of his people through the ages allied himself with the Wereu, collaborating with a rebellion that managed to sweep behind the Rustuffe forces stationed at the wall, and opeing the gates for the Wereu Soldiers.

The fighting was over swiftly, due to most of Ru'sh Naal's forces being stationed around the land elsewhere to defend it's borders, and captured soldiers were requested to join in the liberation of the Ru'sh Naal people by the Wereu. Those that refused were killed.

After this the Buddhist rebels and Wereu forces regrouped in Old Daijoua city, the Wereu's Arm of Bao coming to a stalemate with the Rustuffe Arm of Bao stationed at the city until the majority of the Wereu forces entered the city. Effort was taken to not destroy the city walls or useful infrastructure, however any Kim loyalists were put to the sword upon the seizing of the provincial capitol building.

A call to the Honorable President Guanzun Kim to give up his throne peacefully and avoid the further unnessisary death of his citizens put forth by the Wereu generals was declined.

Rustuffe Arm of Bao forces attempt to lock down the border of the Kastwata province while portions of the military are diverted to regroup nearby.

With the city of Old Daijoua secured by Wereuan forces, the southern cities in the Kastwata province are cut off from military aide and fall shortly to internal rebellions within the cities aligning with the Wereuan invaders.

Thing called inflation.

Main article: History of banking in China
In ancient China, starting in the Qin Dynasty (221 to 206 BC), Chinese currency developed with the introduction of standardized coins that allowed easier trade across China, and led to development of letters of credit. These letters were issued by merchants who acted in ways that today we would understand as banks.[65]

To avoid a direct confrontation with the better equipped Rustuffe forces, the Wereuan Generals plot their troops north and lay seige to the last major city in the Kastwata province, Xiaana.

Some Rustuffe forces attempt to flank the Wereuan but are in turn routed by incoming Wereuan reinforcements from the border to the south west, where the narrow gates had slowed the stream of reinforcements, to the convenience of the Wereu in this situation.

Considering it unwise to split their forces at this time, Gungxi calls on his buddhist bretheren in the Navaro territory to aid in the Wereu's plight. They were all once one people, and it is the Kim family that had caused the disruption in their unity. Many of the rebellion forces continue northward to the city of Luai where they are held off for some time. The rest of the Wereu forces and Gungxi himself hold in Xiaana briefly for word of when Wereuan reinforcements would have arrived in Old Daijoua.
