Dark souls 2 needs to not exist anymore
who the forget allowed this, literally nothing in this game feels right and Im getting enemies who arent taking any damage despite not blocking

which enemies

The standard hollow knights in the beginning
I hit them while they were winding up an attack and dealt like 20 damage as if I was hitting their shield

you usin the broken straight sword?

No, scimitar, I would post a video but dont really want to put it here

strange, dunno if its a glitch but it shouldnt be doing that

Yeah the dancer was a pain in the ass. But its not as hard later down the line save for the Nameless King.
dancer probably gave me the most trouble out of any boss, idk why. nameless king was easier for me for some reason, i think i got him like 4th or 5th try

i thought dancer was one of the most fair bosses of ds3
i.e. not many gimmicky moves (cough ocerios cough)

lol i haven't even fought him. im on my second playthrough and missed the wyvern and nameless king.

so far i've beat the wyvern but im on my way to nameless right now

but yeah dancer was a fair challenge though it was moreso because of character strength rather than a really tough moveset

she was really. although her grab move was a oneshot for me lol

as for oceiros i was really struggling until i found out I had a shield, the rest was easy

honestly for some reason ive always had the idea that shields are bad and I shouldnt use them
dunno why, theyre pretty good at letting me die a lot

invading in this game is such a waste of time. if you dont get summoned into a world with multiple phantoms, 99% of the time the host is using a covenant to summon a blue one so its always gonna be an unfair fight

I usually carry a very smol wooden shield for parrying and nothing else
bucklers have weird timing I gave up on them

I suck at parrying too, I just cant consistently get the timing down on anything

i never summon phantoms to help and always get hit by two or three red phantoms
literally 5 minutes into the aldrich area on my first time and i had to duke it out with three guys

medium shields are good as stuff

love the crest shields

dark souls is a serious game
