But he is actually enjoying the game from I've seen just the story is bad.
He's complaining about every single thing, not enjoying the game.

tony if you dont like it why dont you just go away lol

this is the same thing as your mlp crusade. find something and never stop beating the dead horse

people don't seem to understand that this is what he does, and has been doing for the last 20 accounts he's used

Bethesda's writing is remarkable!

Escape vault 101 to look for your dad to find him working on a water thing. When you start working on the water thing you're trying to turn on, evil government people come in and try to turn on the water thing you're trying to turn on, but because your dad was trying to turn it on, he killed everyone to prevent them from turning it on. You then spend days preparing to actually turn it on and eluding the evil people trying to turn it on until you reach the end where you have to kill yourself to turn it on instead of using a super mutant to turn it on because he's immune to radiation

fixed for you

forget i didnt see there was a curie option ahh fukool kids klubkk

Your profile picture matches that so well.

People are complaining about Fallout 3's plot here. I thought the idea was that the evilbois were going to put that FEV in the water supply? So both were going to turn on the purifier, but one was going to attempt to genocide ghouls, supermutants etc?

And then you also had the option to put in this FEV

something is very, very wrong with my save file.

for god know's why, any time i walk around or try to enter a door in a certain area, my game instantly crashes back to desktop. it happens every time i try to go in the area and the area works in my other save files. it's only the single save.
it's happened so often, in fact, that i managed to get an approximate area in which the bug actually occurs.

it's around this area:

however, once i managed to fast travel into the area, and some really loving WEIRD stuff happened.

that's curie. she has seen better days.

yeah the modified FEV that would kill anyone that was previously effected by the FEV. The plot made sense and I liked it.

jesus christ

according to the ending cutscene thing it wound up actually killing everyone who wasn't genetically pure (at least before the dlc came out to extend the story). it would have killed the mutants, but also any of the people who drank it.

scroll down to 14 on the chart and scroll through the pictures until you see rivet city.

cater to casuals.
Opinion immediately discarded.

Ammo crafting was a mediocre feature, I know it, you know it, everyone knows it. The only reason people are bitching about it is because 4 doesn't have it. If it did, there would be precisely zero people that cared enough to even mention it.

The only really lacking physical gameplay feature that I miss (excluding the old dialogue system; they tried something new and it didn't work, I'll bet it'll be back in Fallout 4.5 or 5) is different types of ammunition. It was nice to be able to cater my weapon damage to the people I was facing.

I'm a little disappointed with the weapons in the game tbh. The only handgun that's actually worth using is the .44, and once again Bethesda made its gun waifu the Gatling Laser objectively the best gun in the game. Beyond that, there just isn't a lot of diversity. I was pretty surprised that for all intents and purposes there is a whopping 3 ballistic assault rifles, and only 5 total assault rifles.

It's just... Idk. They set up a very good foundation for new Fallout titles, but its just that; a foundation. Hopefully Bethesda takes a page out of Obsidian's book for the next game or they just let Obsidian do the next one, and they build on what they've made.

If you could craft ammo then people would be crafting loads of cryo which would make the cryolater op af

Obsidian knows Fallout better than Bethesda but Beth won't admit it and doesn't want everyone to know it as well as they do. I still hope they allow them to make another

the biggest thing i appreciate about bethesda fallout over classic fallout is that the gun design is goofy and fun

like i sort of miss actual traditional assault rifles but i like the idea that stupid bulky retro machine guns became the norm for the military and actual modern assault rifles are a relatively recent design that nobody trusts (except for maybe the NCR)

i'd like to see the 12.7mm pistol and smg, recharger rifle, service rifle (with mods to turn it into the assault/marksman carbine, lmg and ultimately bozar) and anti materiel rifle to return but on the whole fallout 1 and 2's approach toward guns was dull as forget and i want more stupid sci fi bullstuff

I agree with everything, fallout 3 is terrible.

Bethesda only allows Obsidian to make what they consider as a spin off to Fallout 3. Which ironically Fallout 3 is a spinoff to fallout 2. However to Bethesda they consider Fallout 3 and 4 sequels, not spinoffs.

Bethesda killed fallout. I think Obsidian should personally give up and start trying to compete with Bethesda instead with like Wasteland 3 or something. It's bad enough Bethesda screwed Obsidian out of New Vegas royalties.
