Has anyone tried 'Tale of Two Wastelands', Requiem of a Capital (Or something like that), or F3FNV?

All of them are Fallout 3 and NV mergers.

I'm playing Tale of Two Wastelands right now actually. I like the New Vegas mechanics with the superior Fallout 3 story & map. Only problem is that when I change the HUD to green it just changes back to orange. :(

If you believe that fallout New Vegas had a more engaging map then you're a dummy. Besides, you can get a ticket to travel between the two wastelands anyway. B)

the map was better, but story HAHAHAHHAA

NV map: Well it's a desert, what do you expect? Personally I felt right at home.

Fallout 1-2 also took place in California and Nevada, so there's more desert right there. Plus the old games had a bigger world

doesnt change that it was pretty uninteresting. in FO3 you could wander off in one direction and eventually find a shack or just something to do. FNV had too many mountains/literally empty deserts to make exploration fun

brother I loved stalking the valleys and mountains of NV. You wouldn't believe how many caves, crashed planes and cars, and other stuff you would find in the Desert.

Why aren't you playing stalker then?

I agree, Fallout 3's map was a forgetton more interesting than New Vegas's map. I've been replaying New Vegas, and jesus its a boring walk to the Strip.

fallout nv's map sucks in that like 1/5 of the map is inaccessible and pointless

not only is the desert dull but the strip is a clusterforget as well

I get that they wanted to make sure you had to pass the security checkpoint to get in every time but jesus christ

Why aren't you playing stalker then?
...what?
Am I not allowed to criticize the game or something? NV had some legitimate flaws, and so did FO3.

Fallout 3 map suffers from many faults as well considering you have to go through the damn Metro to reach GNR while most of the streets are blocked by rubble and buildings you can't even enter. DC would have been the primary target for a nuke, no way in hell would there be anything standing. Look at Hiroshima for example:

Lots of nothing. Plus weapons improve over time, look at the megaton bomb. That thing was huge.

Fallout isn't an exploration game, stalker is a better game for exploration. Although NV was made more for the old fans than those more familiar with 3.

Fallout isn't an exploration game

I know you have a pair of FO1&2 goggles Wonderglued to your face but come on, really?

Fallout isn't an exploration game

Jesus Christ you really have your head shoved up your ass don't you?
