I'm impatient af too but I occupy myself with other things to keep myself from spoiling the utter stuff out of all these good games

Yeah, doesn't mean the outer areas didn't get nuked into a raddesert.
While nuclear bombs do cause a lot of death and destruction, they're not a forgetin' vortex that completely annihilate whatever they touch. It's been 200+ years, stuff should be growing back by now. This was a thing in F2 and FNV.

I bought a 980 TI to mod the stuff out of this from Amazon. Got two day shipping. Bought it on Saturday. Excepted delivery date is the 11th. Amazon pls

yep yep
Prior to stalker believed that the nukes would kill everything from plants to animals and devoid the planet of life. However as shown by Chernobyl, radiation has little effect on plant life.

However FO1 still had plants like cactus and grass. There were also crops in each major settlement. California though is a pretty dry place though in real life. If untouched by man there would have been more desert and dry grass land, so it's barrenness can be attributed to the fact that we artificially water areas and plant things in places where they would not otherwise be native.

Fallout 4 is done btw, they are just polishing it up.

I haven't even pre-ordered the game yet

Good that they are fixing it
Thats what i have really hated about f3 and fnv is how clunky the shooting is.
yeah, they only made VATs because they knew how crap it was

although i feel like i had more fun shooting in fnv than f3, but i think my friend had some mods

I don't think bethesda can afford for this game to be a flop. Fallout and TES are their bread and butter, and if the really, seriously forgeted up their main course I'm not sure if they could even feasibly recover from that. I'm confidant that Bethesda wouldn't let it fail, even if it meant delaying it or something else similarly drastic.

All the same, I'm not going to preorder it in case I find out that it performs poorly or does by some incredible means fail.
you underestimate how much money bethesda games make

I'm fairly sure that if bethesda somehow did forget up fallout/TES then they'd definitely be making significantly less money on their games. Skyrim still tops the steam top sellers chart every once in a while, that's because it was a really good game. So good that 4 years and a few months later it still sells.

If fallout 4 doesn't do good that means bad things for bethesda, even if they still make loads of money. The next fallout game, elder scrolls game, and whatever else they release would be put under heavier scrutiny over the failure of such a hyped up release. If fallout 4 fails that means bad things for bethesda for a long time after, assuming that they're aiming to make another "skyrim".

You mean that it's a really good "mod platform" right? Because mods are the reason it's still selling.

Whatever makes it sell, I suppose. If fallout 4 winds up being stuffty and flat out not fun then it's the same problem really.

As much as I enjoy mods, releasing a stuffty game and having modders fix your game is bad form. Blatantly copying the old stories and trying to pass them off as your own is also bad form.
