God damn tony if you want be able to kill children so badly just get some lead and gun down a school, hey that's what in this year so might as well set off the last set of fireworks for the year y'know?

I should probably make a new poll, yeah?

Something that has Curie as an option so I can vote for her.

I don't even know who curie is. where is she??

I don't even know who curie is. where is she??
According to the guide, she's in one of the Vaults. I won't say anything more than that.

Spoilers:
[Vault 81.
After you talk to a female child, retrieve her cat (specifically in that order or the cure quest doesn't work), and donate a blood sample to a doctor, exit the vault for 24 in-game hours. Come back, go to the doctor, and there will be a quest which you get cure as a companion at the end of. While you're at that quest, save a lot, and load if you or your companion gets bitten even once by a mole rat. Getting bitten by a mole rat during that quest gives you a permanent -10 health.

Do you have the first modicum of self awareness or have you managed to miss the fact that basically everyone in this thread disagrees with everything you're saying, with a couple exceptions? This is why mods exists. You're the only person who wants to play your personal stuff version of Fallout. Nobody else does. So go download a mod.

I shouldn't have to download a mod. If the game was good enough on it's own I wouldn't need mods to fix it.

3/4 of your mods don't fix stuff. they're there to make stuff feel more apocalyptic and realistic. like rally said, you're still talking out your ass.

Because for a post apocalyptic game it doesn't feel post apocalyptic.

Borderlands, Fallout 1, 2, NV, Mad Max, etc all feel more like a post apocalyptic world and Fallout 4 misses the mark.

It's more like a kiddy version of hey this is what happens when the bombs fall!

If you're into building settlements then this mod will probably be incredibly useful to you

It's not really a mod, it's a cheat engine script, but it will allow you to place anything anywhere. Yea, like even floating in the sky. Super helpful for building perimeter fences.

Do you realize you are the only person in the entire thread who needs to download a mod? Everyone else here is fine with the game, except you. You are the only one who thinks the game isn't good enough on it's own. Your opinions are garbage and nobody wants to play your nightmarishly boring paint-drying gimmick infested version of Fallout that only you care enough about to consistently bitch over. Download a mod and be done with it.

Borderlands isn't even apocalyptic. The entire game in on a different spectrum than fallout.
Mad Max is supposed to be serious, edgy, and tough.
The fallout series is supposed to have a silliness factor. But regardless of that, the game is ultimately portraying the future of mankind after nuclear devastation (maybe you missed that), if haven't noticed, there's lots of people dying, lots of destruction and violence, terrible diseases and humans relying on more primal instincts than anything else.

Fallout New Vegas is a great game, but that game is further away from post-apocalyptic than Fallout 4 is. You've spent so much time and effort repeating yourself you've put yourself into a perpetual loop of spewing garbage. Take a break, most people in the topic don't want you here. Play the game or don't, mod it or don't. No one wants to hear you anymore.

Borderlands isn't post apocalyptic but it still feels more post apocalyptic than fallout 4.

The fallout series is supposed to have a silliness factor.

It's present in Fallout 1, 2, tactics and NV.

Very little in Fallout 3. Stupid jokes like "where is the naughty nightwear?!?!" It's not very silly, it's just dumb.

Wild Wasteland was removed in Fallout 4. I've yet to see a silly thing.

It's probably because of how god damn dense you are.
Most sarcastic dialogue options are in tune with silliness. The aliens are silly, being made to look like stereotypical 1950s aliens and alien weapons. Some shops and shopkeepers are silly, like the guy at diamond city who sells baseball stuff. The goofy ass robot personalities. I could list more but you' probably just say they're not silly.

Also what's up with the currency system?

I somehow doubt people in the east and west coast would adopt the same caps currency system. Tactics was a little more in the east so they used soda can tabs. I have no idea why caps became a currency in Fallout 3 and 4.

You figure with all these subway tokens laying around in Fallout 4 that they would use tokens as currency.

In Fallout 1 it was caps.

In Fallout 2 caps have been rendered obsolete and replaced with NCR money.

In Fallout Tactics they use soda can tabs and brotherhood money.

Fallout 3 uses caps.

Fallout New Vegas uses NCR, Legion and caps.

Fallout 4 uses caps.

Different regions, different money. That's how it should be.

This is precisely why you're a troll. You immediately change the subject after you've been proven to be an ass. You do it to draw attention away from that.
