there being next to no flamer-wielding opponents outside of the forged
do mr handies (that doesn't sound correct) not carry them? I'm absolutely certain they did in previous games, but I can't specifically recall whether or not they do in this one

I think they carry some, yes.

But they're not an overly common robot enemy, compared to protectrons.

I get most of my flamer fuel from filing cabinets, because of the  scrounger perk.

they do, but usually in numbers of like, 8-20
for an automatic weapon with a magazine of 100 by default
so it's not really something you can "profit" from, like the various ballistic rifles; or even energy weapons depending on who you're fighting

is it me or does the minigun just suck stuff
My legendary explosive minigun seems okay.
Probably because i've never used it on anyone with a damage resistance above 10.

I also have a poison minigun, which i'm assuming is good because the super mutant that originally used it killed me a lot with the poision.
It's the only enemy in recent memory that's killed me while i was in a vertibird, and it did so several times.

I don't really use the minigun, because it's heavy.
Even more so than my 25lb assault rifle.
Are there any lighter ballistic weapons that have rank 4 gun nut mods?

the laser minigun vastly outdoes the minigun itself

is it just me or do saves corrupt a lot

oh hell yeah it is, because energy > ballistics all day every day
final vengeance fully modded with charging barrels is loving broken when you've got maxed heavy gunner

I mean, it's pretty hardcore without max heavy gunner.
I carry it around with me and it's my "I'm scared, annihilate everything" weapon.

Alpha Deathclaw dropped on me today, and I took it out before it even finished its roar that it does.

god if you are real please destroy this planet

a .308 hunting rifle did make a good replacement to my .50 while i spent time restocking ammo for it, just had to make sure to always get head shots and never be detected lol

got myself a never-ending missile launcher as well. saves a lot of weight compared to a quad-capacity ml, and it definitely came in handy when for some reason the bos sent 4 vertibirbs to croup manor

and i must say, betraying the bos has been one of the best decisions i've made in a long time in this game. with all the mods i have they are so much harder to fight in squads than any other enemy type so far, and they show up all over the place. i actually died by gunfire a couple times last night as opposed to the usual exploding car, missile, or grenade. 10/10 would reccommend, do it for the coat

I kind of regret that I didn't become enemies with the BoS until the story compelled me too.
I was on a story binge, and it wasn't long after having them as enemies that I destroyed them.

So I only had a couple of random hostile encounters with them. I would have preferred to keep them around a bit longer to spice up my exploration.
