It's not necessarily that. Believe it or not, people can like a kids show and still be adults. Yes, a lot of them have a fundamentally different mindset than other people that actually allows them to enjoy it. A lot of them think different than you do, they act different than you do, they feel different than you do.
If you don't happen to like how a person acts around you, even though they're not actually doing anything bad, what do you do?

If they're not causing actual harm:
don't be a richard. Ignore them, avoid them, whatever. Just because they think different than you doesn't mean you need to go around antagonizing them.
Of course, if they're legitimately just doing it to be an attention whore, by all means.
