planr how can you possibly be defending this behavior? there is absolutely no absolute reason absolutely for you to stand up for him in absolutely any absolute way absolutely.
I was about to ask you the same question about the behavior of the people in this thread towards OP. There's absolutely no reason for me to stand against him. I try my best not to hold grudges towards people. I reserve my cynicism for in video games.
When people treat someone so cruelly this way over something that poses no harm or threat to them whatsoever, it tells me all the more that that person actually is right.
All lung cancer diagnoses happen in roughly the same way.
Tumors are detected with CT scans, x-rays, and occasionally MRIs. To receive one of these scans, you have to schedule an appointment with a radiologist which can take several days.
Then, when they've confirmed you have a tumor, they do a biopsy to determine whether it is benign or malignant. For lung cancer, this is essentially a minor surgical procedure and needs to be scheduled with a specialist. This also takes several days, including the time you have to wait for a laboratory to evaluate your biopsy and determine whether you actually have cancer.
Absolutely none of these steps can happen within a single-day check up, and the process would ostensibly begin at a routine physical, not end at one.
If you actually believe his story, you are handicapped.
Yet another bunch of assumptions. I had another Blockland friend several years back who died from earlier exposure to radon gas during her childhood, and she was told about it when she went for her checkup.
I accept your insult of "handicapped" and gladly wear it as a badge of honor.
