When I join a server by using the Join game function that is available when you chat with someone on steam and the server is full, you get stuck with the Blockland main menu, without the actual menu. (that sentence really stretched) I.e. the pictures from your screenshot folder rolling and nothing else. Had to restart Blockland.

This felt like a pretty rare situation, but I thought I might as well report it.
