Author Topic: Steam is forgeted at the moment  (Read 18739 times)

I haven't seen any other reports of that happening apart from his post. I would have thought if it was actually an issue, it would be pretty wide spread.
Yeah whoever said that is probably just attention whoring

The only person who I would say was "verified" was an IGN news reporter.

https://twitter.com/BenJanca

Note that he was constantly switching between account pages, thereby putting his own account into active cache and allowing people to touch his stuff.

On reddit comments there is plenty of them. Buying things, changing e-mails...

Funny hearing people saying this is just cache issue and our accounts are safe. But a few pages earlier, someone bought a game with friend's account.

Nothing is safe right now.
Haha, no.

It clearly has his own steam accounts name on it. He made the purchase himself, it just forgeted up his language.

Steam should pull the plug soon, or they're gonna have a lot of angry complaints

Please read more, my friend is french, nothing is wrong with his language. Someone bought something with his account. And it is apparently an"unknown" game

I.
I mean.
He's not wrong.
Did you actually expect the purchase on his account under "Himself" to list another account name?

I don't believe it's not fake under any circumstance, but beyond that what you have pointed out is not exactly an issue.

vitawrap has always been a malignant moron, so I wouldn't trust anything coming from him.

NO, What did you not understand of DO NOT LOG IN.
well how would logging in make a difference?

I visited the store a few hours ago and my page was in another language.

Beyond that, it's physically impossible to confirm that it's true.
As someone else said before, it could merely be fear-mongering.
Be it you buy something for yourself, or you make a fake thing with javascript for whatever reason, you can easily claim that someone else did it under this pretext. And besides doubting the authenticity, there's no proof, nor possibility to prove, to say that he's faking it.

This is a colossal goatforget.

NO, What did you not understand of DO NOT LOG IN.
at the time i wasnt aware of it
edit: i bought besiege and tried to fix it, but ended up loving me up even more
