no way in hell am I going to solo queue comp and everyone I played with when the game came out either hasn't touched it in weeks or has other people to play with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven't done any competitive because everybody that I was playing with stopped playing
so I've just been doing quick matches while waiting to see if they ever play again

I played 6 comp matches and i cans see why people wouldn't enjoy it.

I won 4/6. I just recently lost because people genuinely think 2 reapers and a s76 is a good combination for defense. Ended up being 2 to 3 in Numbani.

I thought people played comp to use decent team comp not bolster their skills with the only character they know how to play lol.

did you ask them to switch
from my experience people will switch / start off as someone if you just ask

that is unless they genuinely cannot play anyone but one hero

Haven't played much recently but apparently there is a method of crashing servers using Hanzo or Genji, and people are getting perma'd for doing it

i always make a point to try out other characters when playing AI matches with friends so i can be more versatile. i still mainly play d.va, mercy and s76 tho

Because when you solo queue you get matched against opponents who solo queue, but when you queue in a group you get matched against a group
So the group you matched against was just more coordinated than yours
