I know. It should be common sense to present some background information on a topic/person that not everybody has knowledge of.

She also has screenshots of the messages he sent to her as well as the pants with the broken belt loops.
Screenshots online can be altered/photoshopped/fake, and she could have ripped her own pants. The only way there is proof is if she can show the texts in person with the appropriate timestamp. You can't really believe her right away for this "proof."

The police have access to text information through the wireless company.

If the texts were legit the police would have brought it public.
