Like these women can loving destroy people's lives by yelling rape. More than likely they kept quiet until people started coming out and accusing him.

Literally the biggest fear that rape victims have is that their rapist won't get prosecuted. Lots of them don't report it because they figure that it's easier to just live with it than risk being branded a liar. I'd imagine that when other people start accusing the same person that raped you, it makes it easier to overcome that fear.
