If somebody has, let's say Schizophrenia, it would be really loving bad for them to be told that their delusions are correct and accurate. That's why we don't loving do that. We give them treatment and medicine, not mass delusions

presenting as their gender identity, hormone treatment, etc. are all treatments and medicine for their dysphoria

there is no other treatment. you either acknowledge the issue and get better or you live with the intense anxiety and mental strain for your whole life. it is completely insensitive and selfish to force people to live miserably. it's not for their own sake, it's not for their own good, it's only hurting them. these feelings don't go away and they don't get better unless they're able to get the treatment they need.

also i don't see how proving the word "mutilation" matters here, if it's what they need to treat their problem, they should be able to make that decision.

Two-Spirit people, for example, were non-gender-conforming individuals that had spiritual significance in certain Native American communities. These are not just mythical made up figures with gender-variance. These examples are about real people.
