Though, when I did that million dollar question survey in my school, I found out that a LOT of people still resent and avoid/hate gay people. Some were deeply offended when I asked them if they'd suck a richard for a million dollars, and some said that they'd rather die than ever do that.

The issue is that you're asking in a school full of insecure kids who don't want to say anything that would suggest they're gay.
There's a reason why your online replies are skewed more towards yes
