you should get that like right away, and read through the topic/watch videos to see what it can do.
also a bunch of old people came back in the past two years after extended hiatuses, including you.
there's been a slew of neat servers (some new, some revived) over the past year but its been all spaced out and such.
some that i can think of off the top of my head is Despair Syndrome, Port's Surf, Euro Cup, Blockaloni's Horror servers, Legoboss's SLASHER, Legopepper's Medieval Roleplay (now not under his name), Halloweenfest (shameless self advertising).
You should definitely get some of the cool shader effects and mods off of the Enhanced Screenshot gallery megatopic; one that is really really cool is Better Shader Controls which lets you set the shadow resolution to a near-arbitrarily high number, even higher than Ultra. given that you're building a battlestation it probably would be possible for your computer to regularly play on higher-than-ultra settings. that and of course reshade is a thing.
