I think you are greatly underestimating the positive effects it would have if everyone had a ready supply of food. the threat of starvation would be gone, and therefore, the largest problem that people face when it comes to insufficient income, would no longer be of any concern. sometimes up to hundreds of dollars a week, now with nowhere to go. this can instead go towards luxuries, like crazy ass microwaves

also dehydrated food is no big deal anyway

end world hunger because if I refuse to eat certain foods then ill be hungry until I get the food I want, therefore beating the microwave by not only having food on the go but getting the exact food I want.
