If a cop pulls you over on the side of the road and tells you to take off all your clothes and you say "hell no forget you" and you get arrested for verbal assault, who is in the wrong? we removed clickpushing from mafia madness for this reason and then it was later added back exclusively in a joke role because of how silly and annoying it is

still, if it was against the rules/an administrator said to stop, then a ban isn't unreasonable

The "don't be an starfish" rule is just a guise to validate the ban against clickpushing. Once again, saying "hey you're allowed to clickpush, but if you do it in an starfish-like way you'll be banned" is just the equivalent of saying "hey you're not allowed to clickpush"

Jack Noir's post clarifies his reasoning but it contradicts itself and overcomplicates the 'no clickpushing allowed rule' by adding some clearly unquantifiable measure to it aka "do it this much and you're an starfish" even though the 'how much' is never loving explained

disclaimer: not super caught-up with what's going on here, just speaking generally based on what i'm reading

talking from experience here, games like this are incredibly difficult to reliably administrate by exhaustively outlining everything you should and should not do. for more specific cases, it's best to play it by ear and identify and discourage disruptive behaviors as they happen. oftentimes you come across an offense that's blatant enough to be added to the rules, but just because it wasn't against the letter of the law doesn't mean it can't be against the spirit of the game, and deliberately disobeying an administrator and going out of your way to disrupt gameplay is a perfectly reasonably bannable offense

Let me elaborate: He was being a richard eventually as the chat progresses, but i'm talking about before the first interaction with Razer
