feels good sitting on vechain. briefly considered dividing part of it with Ripple, but the whole centralized aspect of it really put me off.

Ripple isn't a cryptocurrency. It's the worst of both worlds, it doesn't have any guarantee of value (a problem for crypto) AND is mutable so the creators of it can manipulate it however they see fit (a problem with fiat that crypto addesses). It's objectively worse than crypto and fiat.
