I think it's more like, we don't treat Schizos by adhering to their concept of reality, so why are we doing the same for transmissions? We don't treat depressed people by agreeing with their depression thoughts, so why do we do the same for transmissions? Why is it okay for doctors to chop the limbs off of the mentally unsound?
