there is nothing wrong with game streaming, and how do you figure it won't survive as a concept? people can video share literally any game they are playing lol
game streaming has inherent latency which is annoying, also with game streaming the concept of "owning" a game will probably disappear, you will just be renting it from the cloud or owning a license or whatever

what you don't even like it? it's got your stuff written all over it and its funded by the government. the European government no less (not the nasty American one). If you don't like it then why does it even exist? who or what is a game like this made for other than to sell some political message or idea?
all of my friends are people you would call woke commies or whatever and none of us play stuff like this. none of us are choosing which games to play because they have token corporate diversity or whatever. i feel like you are shadowboxing the sjw that basically only exists in your head dude. there is lots of public arts funding in EU, that funding doesnt come with some kind of requirement to push certain political messages i don't think.

Now Ghislaine Maxwell is getting in on this

Something insane is about to go down
i feel like ghislaine is just going to blatantly lie on the stand right? no one is gonna go after her for perjury, not in the current admin at least.

i have no idea what bill clinton is doing i think he almost certainly forgeted kids or at least knew about it

well you can feel like whatever you want it doesn't change the fact there are games now that are abundantly influenced by politics. that game is a pretty heavy example, but it was made as a dunk on the Annoying Orange election supposedly. saints row got pretty molested by it it went from being about badass gangster stuff influenced by badass gangster culture to borderline being reddit: the game.

so if you're telling me you don't even like this stuff then they're literally just wasting money to poison the well.

literally what would I say about any of the other stuff. welcome to capitalism pal
>trying to throw my pal stuff back at me cause i was right about the conspiracies this entire time

that isnt a good or a bad thing. lots of amazing games are overtly political and better for it - the entire metal gear series, spec ops the line, receiver 2, fallout new vegas, disco elysium, mother 3, cruelty squad

wanting 0 politics in your games is just the other side of the coin of the bluey/my little pony adult phenomenon

the canadian and EU governments give artists grant money just to make art without strings attached and it's awesome

the bidens are completely absent from the files so far

yeah because those are actually well-crafted polished games made by teams of people that don't hate their core fanbase that use their political angle to tell an actually engaging story and aren't overtly in your face about it. i dont care about politics in games as long as its not cigarettegy and poorly done. saints row is a prime example of politics in games being cigarettegy and poorly done if not downright nefarious

are you implying pizzagate and jeffrey epstein weren't on my list to begin with? hell i don't give a stuff if the bidens are in the files or not. i had the bidens files. its just as bad lol

we have different interpretations of game streaming. what I'm talking about is as simple as sharing your screen via discord. there is latency, sure, but it's very minimal if you have a good connection. my friends and I share our game streams all the time with practically no latency whatsoever...maybe 10-20 ms??

renting games from the cloud is a different story, which I disagree with and think is scummy. goes back into the whole subscription based nonsense I was complaining about before

yeah i am talking about stuff like google stadia, where just your inputs get sent to a server where the game is being executed and rendered, and then the video output is sent back to your machine. and i'm pretty sure that's what dr block was referring to

then say that in the first place instead of saying "theres too much politics in games". theres no point beating around the bush besides trying to hide your full thoughts.

if video games were banned then the fertility and literacy rates would double

-nevermind engaging with this thread is pointless-
