but it doesnt sound like your issue is the level of politics, its whether or not the game is fun. id hesitate to call the mgs not "heavily political", or to use a new example, papers please. fundamentally it sounds like the issue isnt with the message of the game but rather what you personally feel about the overall quality/fun of the game. and the obvious (to me at least) counterpoint is that some people find certain things fun that others dont. not everything has to be a smash hit, and its fine if some studio spent a lot on a game that only appeals to a niche audience. businesses make bad decisions all the time and its silly to deride a specific subset more, purely cause you dont agree with the message or how its portrayed.
that said, i agree with your final point. i just think you're misattributing bad quality as because of political tone as opposed to bad game design/developers. and your casual use of a slur to make your prior point doesnt help your case.
