You can deconstruct a bed to wake them up, but they don't like when that happens too often.

Yeah but he was trying to recover from two yellow injuries. He's healed now (other than the brain).

You didn't start with seeds?  If you didn't, you better get some from the caravan, and how did you end up with a bunch of injured people?

I started with some seeds but I'm horrible with irrigation and there's little soil.

The injuries came from hunters being attacked. Both my hunters have brain injuries.

Also, 21 migrants. TOO MANY.

Wow, while exploratory mining I get my first experience with adamantine by breaking right into HFS. There's like 5 full pages on the units menu filled with insane elves, humans and dwarves and they're destroying my frame rate. Any ideas on how to deal with them without wrecking my entire fortress?

Random, stupid idea came up.

Turn the farm irrigation chamber into a death chamber  :cookieMonster:

My wrestlers keep giving birth while sparring, that's disgusting.

Wall the thing off, the secret things will take care of them I think.

I like hanging around houses at night and wrestling kids. Then I run outside and 10 village people are chasing me.

I put a swimming pool (water depth 4) right smack in the entrance. A small warning to anyone who decides to do something like this, make sure the dwarves have another, longer "path" they can use instead of going through the swimming pool when they need to haul things/build things, since swimming apparently forces them to drop anything they're carrying and to cancel whatever they were doing.

My main plan is to block off the fort's Outer entrances with water, so anything that tries to attack my fort will need to be able to swim to get to it. In case they CAN swim, I have a few drawbridges that will block all access to the fort. My idea is to train my militants to become good swimmers, so they'll be able to bypass the water entrances and attack from the water. No idea if dwarves can cross through water after they're trained up in swimming.

I'm building a collection of my victim's body parts. Is there any way to target an area of the body?

so yeah.
I had a wierd thing.
Some time ago in DF a Human liason came. He got killed. By acident. By a goblin. Poor goblin.
Anyway, some time later (2-3 years) an annoucment: YOU ARE UNDER SIEGE! i think "oh yeah goblins, more loot :D" but then i see what? HUMANS i think "what the heck? why did they attack me? was it because of the damn liason has died ? by an acident? meh..." so yeah, they tried to starve me to death. Fortunatly i had cataputls and ballistas to take care of those persy humans. Now i have so many things, i could buy a whole human city together with those unborned babies :D
So my question is, did they attack me due to the death of the liason?

I don't get how to build stuff.
Press B and choose a brick then press the number of the slot, then place the ghost brick on the ground then press ENTER, I hope this would help you xD

Yes. I actually just read something about that; they will siege due to a liason's death.

I should try planning out a fort in like, some graphics program, so my second floor isn't just a mess of stockpiles and workshops.
