An amazing reference.

Yes, the Wikipedia system sucks ass, but that is just the way it works.
Oh, forget you.

Whether or not the rules, this:

Don't follow written instructions mindlessly, but rather, consider how the encyclopedia is improved or damaged by each edit.
Although just a guideline, it's quite truthful.
We are supplying information, and it's not damaging it at all.

I can see exactly why you do this aswell.
I only did that after people from blockland started to vandalize my talk page.
You're taking it out on the whole community just because some users who play Blockland vandalized.

I only started posting here because my talk page was vandalized. Otherwise I would have just stuck to Wikipedia.

I don't mean to screw you all  over. I am just workin' on Wikipedia.

Its like this guy make a peice of pizza. He puts five pepperoni slices on it. He states that he has five pepperoni slices on it. You can clearly walk up to this guy, look on his plate at his pizza, and see that there are five pepperoni slices on it. But for some reason, no, he does not have five pepperoni slices on it until some news outlet walks up to the guy and asks how many pepperoni slices are on it. After they report that there are five loving pepperoni slices on it, even though that is common knowledge the entire time, only after they report it is it a valid statement.
...
I'm sorry, maybe I am just mentally challenged or something, but the fact that one single person restates exactly what the creator says, shouldn't in theory make any statement more or less true.

I know. The Wikipedia logic is messed up, but it is the way Wikipedia works.

Stop blaming it on them and screw off.

So why do you follow it so tightly?

So why do you follow it so tightly?

If I didn't, would I have any other editors willing to work with me? If I didn't do things by the book, I would
1. get in trouble
2. My pages would be deleted Instantly.

Everything on Wikipedia is done my consensus. If something isn't done right, somebody in the community will find it, and mark it for removal.

And you were like the first person in YEARS that marks it for removal.

Everyone has to follow the rules on wikipedia. Blockland is no exception. You can clearly see that I enforce the rules on all sorts of other articles.

No, you are obsessing and spending an unreasonable amount of time on this.

No, I put this much work into all my articles because I want to make wikipedia a better place.

Changing just this one article doesnt affect much else of wikipedia. Besides, other articles don't have to follow the rules exactly to work.

[quoteauthor=whatgordonwillsay]But you still need to have valid resources, and you haven't backed up any information on the Blockand wiki[/quote]

We have valid resources, the Blockland website directly states everything you need to know

Quote from: whatgordonwillsay
But they arn't third party resources, so it wont work on wikipedia.

Thats really stupid.

I know but I am just trying to help, those are the rules.

What about the "you dont ahve to follow the rules exactly" clause? Why are you being so insistent on Blockland?

There, I just summurised what this thead has been from the beginning to what it will be when people finally lock it. No need to argue, I put all arguments from both sides up there.
Just read that section over and over a few dozen times and you will be good for the rest of the year.

Other articles don't follow the rules, but they are already proven notable. Blockland is still proving notability.

P.S the globe and mail article is full of mistakes. Blockland free?!

They are out of date, yes, if you bothered reading Badspot's post you would know this.

I think that we can all agree that this friend should just shut the forget up.  He's already lost his argument many times over so he should just leave this place and let the article be.

See, sometimes primary soruces can be more accurate.

If you were actually knew the rules, you would know that most rules a guidelines, not strict rukes to follow. You removing blocks of text form the BL wikipedia probably broke more rules then the un-cited paragraphs did.

Should I post a link to this topic in the AfD talk thing?
