Anyone curious why the guy says Optifine is required for that mod, I think I figured it out. Since that mod allows such control over video graphics, the guy probably thinks you'd want to use that to disable things to lighten the load in combination with the intense shaders.

Unless you have a high end GPU like me anyway.

I don't want dynamic shadows until they're proper.  From what I can tell, dynamic shadows in Minecraft depend on the sun/moon, which move with the player.  I don't like that, so until there's some form of fix for this I'll stay away.

Or just not use it at all.  I'm content with Minecraft without it.

@RaustBD The changes will affect their behaviors, so yes it may break some mob traps. I try to keep stuff as similar as possible.

The last part worries me a little. Sure, the new behavior may break mob traps, but for good reason: To improve the AI. People have complained so much about this, and the point of the AI Specialist was to correct and introduce AI attributes. He shouldn't hold back on making improvements just because something else would break. I think Minecraft players are not only used to things bring broken with updates, but eventually understanding if they are caused by true improvements.
