why'd ever use a stone pick after gathering the first three iron ores

I don't want to burn through all the iron I get while mining. Stone picks mine nearly as fast and stone is a hell of a lot more common than iron. I'd rather use my ingots for armor, weapons, minecarts, an anvil, and on and on.

Ugh horses are so loving inconsistent with the rest of miencraft, this is what Mojang gets for letting sub-par mod makers into the vanilla game.
-Knees
-Feet
-Fatter upper-legs
-Armor that sticks directly onto their skin, not slightly above it
-One single armor piece
-Gold armor is better than iron armor
-Multiple variations
-A mouth (save endermen, but that's not really even a mouth)
-handicapped sounds
-Screw up hunger bar and UI (repurposes xp bar)
-Overcomplex breeding mechanics

It might just be me, but when I'm done from my mining trips, I have as much iron as I do cobblestone.

Quick little idea.

Wouldn't it have been incredible if the End were built out of a mess of the blocks Endermen can pick up? Like they constantly were scavenging during the night and building during the day. And perhaps they could steal more valuable blocks from the player giving you a real reason to visit the End to regain your crap instead of fighting a stuffty "end-game" boss.

Probably could develop the idea bit more but whatever.
