Minecraft oldcigarette here. Does anyone actually remember classic? Servers like working skydive, noxyryan's ctf, and lava survivals were the bomb, imo. I remember when indev first came out and people were going nuts about it in chat. Good times :(

There's actually a reincarnation called ClassiCube but it's not nearly as popular. It seems to be a polished product of the deobfuscated, decompiled and rebuilt classic binary, and apparently someone from mojang said they can do pretty much whatever they want with it.

It's kind of interesting seeing how many doors fernflower (the original java decompiler that allowed complete decompilation of classic) has opened. I remember when it first came out and I used it on both the client and server jars to try and port it over to UDP, but that was years ago. Before then it was JD-GUI and wishful thinking, something that the original developers of the WOM client had to do and I'm honestly jealous of because that kind of reverse engineering is both fun and easy.

no but seriously im looking for people to play minecraft with someone message me on steam at

From your worlds.

Everybody hates 1.9 because we all know mods are going to take a year to update and then again many mods still don't support 1.8.

Is everybody with heavy mods still in 1.7? The only mods I use are optifine and shaders.

1.7 was much easier to code with from what I've heard, and many mod makers are planning on skipping 1.8 because 1.9 is already feature complete and will be released relatively SoonTM.

We should probably do a minecraft server for when resonant rise 3.3 comes out. It will finally be not an incompatible piece of software held by yarn.

So trying to test a mod pack, no idea what this is about. Any ideas?
