Problem: How do I host an internet game?
Problem: I'm trying to host a game but no one joins/ my game doesnt show up in the list

Solution: If you have cable or DSL, you probably need to forward your ports.  I have created a tutorial on how to do this here: http://blockland.us/portForward/

I have an att one when i put in the defult gateway it leads to my att one.

i need possible passwords for a dmax thompson router

there is no user name to put it when it says log in

when i get to the part (click on portforwarding) it doenst have it. do you know the problem? cookie for ya  :cookie: :cookie: :cookie:

if it is a linksys than go to Application and Gaming then Port Range Forward

um, I'm a bit, no, REALLY confused. I have a mac. I go into "start a game" and I go to advanced info.
I can see port, but not port fowarding or, "port to port" I've tried typing into the port ox "2800 to 28300" but nothing else :panda:

PLZ tell me whut I'm doing wrong! I really want to play this with other people! Tell me and I will give you lots of  :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie:  :cookieMonster: :)

Badspot help i tried the tuttorial when i was alone and none of the codes worked what happend?  :panda: :panda: :panda:

If you can't figure out how to forward, your probally not worthy of hosting.

I'm really confused because no matter what, I'm not getting the port screen that I'm looking for!!! Like, I'm looking for what you see if you have the mac version and you look at advanced config right before you start a game.... does that have anything to do with fowarding ports??? And is fowarding ports only something you do in blockland???

Can you tell me how to set it up and I have vista and a dlink router.

Open command and type in ipconfig.  Then look on the line Ipaddress and copy it down.

Try putting the following in these boxes:
Name: blockland.exe
TCP: 28000 - 28030
IpAddress: The number you got from ipconfig
UDP: 28000 - 28030

I don't mean to bump but what if your DNS's are blank?
