Creativity / To the People who use Revit: Some Assistance Please

I have no problems using Revit on a lab computer at the CC, but when I try to work on a project on my computer, a lot of the linework isn't there. What settings do I have to mess with in order to show everything properly?

For those who need to keep up: The Thirty Meter Telescope - which is supposedly the world's biggest telescope - was planned to be finished on top of Mauna Kea, which is a dormant volcano. The native Hawaiians got upset about it and held a protest, forming a blockade to prevent the vehicles from going to the construction site. The Hawaiians claim that the site is sacred land. Then the governor decided to postpone the construction to investigate.
I can understand them being upset because of the site being sacred due to reasons involving their ancestors and culture, but I didn't think that Anonymous would be involved in this. Fortunately, the native Hawaiian protest group said that Anonymous aren't accounted for in the protest. If Anonymous does show up to the protest while wearing those masks, I'm going to expect a riot between the two. Then again, Anonymous has nothing better to do.

Off Topic / Studies Show that Japan's Population is Slowly Declining

I was richarding around on Swfchan one day when I looked into some thread that shows data of Japan's demographic. Then I remembered an article that I read a month ago on my local news. Upon looking further, I read another article and took a look at these two reports (Report 1 and Report 2).
I might be years late on this subject, but all I can say at this point is "yep." Even though I like Japan's technological advances (excluding the useless ones) and their top priority of safety, I hate some of its pop culture and the research that's produced there. Those peace signs piss me off, and some of the research mimics the sounds in hentai. I'd like to give more reasons, but I can't think of them at the top of my head.
In short: I realized this just now, I still can't fully stand their culture, babble babble babble, etc.

It feels like Christmas came a bit early. Even though there were some good times in 2014, let some of these be a reminder that the year had some major down-sides.

Off Topic / Switched to the Nokia Lumia 1020 (Feeling Regret)

I guess it's time for me to pull the Blogland card for the first time.
I'm feeling good about getting the Nokia Lumia 1020 to replace my iPhone 3GS. The specs for the phone seems promising and I've gotten used to the feel of Windows Phone 8. I decided to hook up my phone to my PC so that I can transfer music. My expectations were getting crushed after that.
My PC greeted me with a notification that my phone isn't recognized because there's no drivers present. I looked up some solutions online. Most of them consisted of uninstalling the device from Device Manager, reboot the phone, reboot the computer, etc. All of those did absolutely nothing to solve the issue because it's DRIVER related. Then I looked for some drivers that are available for download. Google's being an unhelpful forget, so I got nothing.
Before calling it a day, I stumbled upon this thread. I followed the procedures by updating the device with the WinUSB device. It somehow worked, but I don't see my phone being detected on the Windows Phone app, so I still can't transfer music to my phone. I think I forgeted myself over.
If you guys want to tackle this problem, I'm open to suggestions.

I decided to stop by my dad's office when this little forgeter came out of nowhere. I'm not sure what kind of worm it is, but I think that it's some parasite. It moved fast while it swung by its sides. Can anyone identify this?

I decided to lurk the Rule 34 site to see that the featured image was Germany with a dong. I scrolled down to see the rest of the comments until I saw this image apparently taken in an RTS bus.
When searching the name on Google, the featured image takes me to a blog post about this guy, which was posted all the way back in 2006.

Games / Madness: Project Nexus Series

If you've heard about and/or watched the Madness series on Newgrounds, then you might've known about the game already.
The first series is a flash game made in 2012. Its current version is 1.8. It won't be updated further due to complications in the coding. Play it here.
The second series is going to be a game using the Unity Engine. It takes place after the first series. So far, it looks similar to Badspot's TwoGuns Prototype. If you want developments of the game, follow http://teammadness.tumblr.com/.

Suggestions & Requests / More Buses in Blockland: Gillig Phantom

I feel as though that Blockland doesn't have enough buses. The only bus I saw as a vehicle add-on was the School Bus somewhere in the RTB archive. Since the standard Gillig Phantom measures 40 ft, Blockland can use the shorter 30 ft version to accommodate for a user's custom-built roads. Now for some pictures.

Off Topic / Help Needed: Wifi Adapter Being Dumb

My ASUS U56E-BBL5 laptop has been working about a year ever since I purchased it. Until now, I suddenly lost the capability of connecting wirelessly. I restarted my computer once and my Wifi worked, but for only a few minutes. The problem itself seems to have escalated from limited Wifi connectivity to the disappearance of my Wifi adapter.
I checked Device Manager to see if there's any changes. So far the driver remains intact while the two miniports for the driver disappeared. I tried downloading the latest files for the driver at Intel's website, but it didn't fix the problem. So, I'm down with three options.
A. Uninstall the driver and let the computer find and reinstall it.
B. Purchase an external wireless adapter.
C. Purchase a replacement Wifi card.
Which one should I choose?
