DISCLAIMER: This is a very controversial subject, especially in 2017. Do you wipe sitting down, or wipe standing up? There are many pro's and cons towards each path, but I'll let YOU decide the pros and cons yourselves. I will provide some examples of sitters and standers below. Keep in mind this is an open-minded, non-biased (its actually very biased) debate. Please be formal and kind to everyones opinions.

STANDERS:

Mike #1:

Standing while wiping is the only way to go. One hand (my left) pulls my buttcheek to the side while the other cleans the affected area. It's flawless... I think if I wiped while sitting, I'd end up with poop all over my arm.

Manton:

I'm a 23-year-old male who not only stands to wipe, but has never even contemplated any other form of wiping. I had no idea there was any other way until I went to college and people would see me stand-up over the top of the stall (I'm 6'4", the stall was roughly 5'10") and confused everyone. Apparently it's a New Jersey thing, as I did an impromptu dorm floor census (of both lovees), and everyone from Jersey wiped standing up.

Mike #2:

One positive has come from standing to wipe. Early in our dating years, my wife walked in on me (as girlfriends tend to do, goddammit) whilst in mid-wipe. I'll never forget that face. It was a terrible moment for both of us, but one of the best moments of our relationship as far as I'm concerned. She has never once, in the eight years since, come anywhere close to the bathroom while I'm taking a stuff. Peaceful every single time.

SITTERS:

I used to stand to wipe my ass. The thought of putting my hand down the toilet bowl revolted me. It wasn't until I went to college that it dawned on me that standing up did not allow me to get every last piece of poop on my cheeks. I always wondered why my ass would be itchy about an hour later. I don't know what the actual catalyst was, but once I started to stay sitting to wipe, I began to have a dryer ass and fewer stuff stains in the boxers. I have not looked back.

Shawn:

So I used be a stander, it never occurred to me to sit while I wipe I was just easier to stand. However ,I say used to be a stander because I have since converted to sitting. A few years back I got a new job and at the company I worked for the gaps between the stall doors and walls was exceptionally wide, thus while standing to wipe I was basically showing dong for anyone walking by. I went to wiping sitting down. Now I am a sitter even when I am at home, I find I get better star fish coverage and it also helps with dingleberries. So there you have it the tale of a stander turned sitter.

Chris:

I am 24 years old and, until today, had always wiped while standing. Then I had a nice leisurely post-lunch trip to the stuffter at work, stayed on the john to wipe, and it was one of the most eye-opening experiences of my lifetime.

FACTS:

• It's a 50/50 split of sitters and standers. (However, some studies to show a 60% sitter 40% stander)
• Some people do both!

General Discussion / Blockland Steam glitch/bug - Blocklands running when its not

A bug i've been experiencing on the steam version of blockland is as follows:

Whenever I close out of Blockland, steam assumes I'm still playing it even though it's not even running.


BEFORE YOU POST:

• I am aware that Steam does this for games often, and you're able to go to task manager to close out of them. In this case, Blockland IS NOT THERE.
• You have to force-close steam (task manager) to fix the error. Playing Blockland and closing it does the same error.
• Verifying game cache on steam does not work.
• Installing, reinstalling does not fix the problem. - This goes for steam AND Blockland.

How to Reproduce:

• Run Blockland
• Force Blockland to shut down, via crashing it (quit(); in console), alt f4'ing, or other means
• Run Blockland again, close out again.
• Should be borked???????????????

Not sure how to fix it. Tried just about everything.

Suggestions & Requests / Bird Playertype

Is there a possible chance someone can make a bird playertype? It can be as simple as a classic "m" bird as long as it has an animation for jumping/flying (i.e. wings flapping)
That's all I want and since I suck richard at modeling and coding.
It doesn't have to be too detailed, but as long as it has a simple animation and looks like a bird it'd be great

hey hey i've been in the mood to play the ship but i have no one to play with (and ive never played online before :'( )
if anyone has it and is totally willing to download it for a LIMITED EDITION BLOCKLAND THE SHIP

The Ship is a hunt/prey game. Players have a randomised appearance and name. They're each given the name/image of another person they need to stealthily kill. As they hunt them down you have to be wary of other players trying to kill you.
There are penalties for being caught in the act or brandishing weapons in front of guards/cameras, as well as killing people who aren't hunting you.

It's a lot of fun and quite exciting given the constant paranoia. It's quite good with friends on a call, as there's an extra layer of paranoia in trying to work out if your friends are telling you the truth.

I was building on Zeustal's server, (helping him with his medieval build [also called dissapointment], here are some pics of the builds provided:

he said that as long as i built a house ontop of the build, it won't be deleted. and he will share it in the gallery post that he makes when it's fully finished.


When trying to ask why he deleted said build, this was his response:


If you look closely at the build, you can see that it was built on a baseplate. Also, the lamb sauce was inside the house! A liar? Definitely on my list.


Also, he banned a random person from his server for being gay-- flaming is definitely not allowed on blockland. I suggest banning him from all your servers whenever you encounter him.

Off Topic / restored comp to factory settings, some things are forgety now :(

so i restored my comp to factory settings because my comp was slow and i needed to clean it up. proceeded to do so, but i've had a couple of problems (i cant seem to fix)

• Aero mode (transparency) doesn't seem to work. It says that my video card cannot support it.

                -However, looking into dxdiag, it seems it cannot find my video card (idk how to do this :( )

• Windows cannot find my monitors correct resolution. My monitor is 1600x900, however it only goes up to 1280x800

(The video card should be a GeForce GTX 480)
Any help? :)
