I read about an island prison in...Norway, I think, that had the best standards for prisoners. They were treated with pretty much 100% freedom, and they could roam about unattended.

Now, I'm not saying that we should do that, but still. Prisoners are humans too, and nothing they do should change that.

there's a difference to the kind of prisoners. people who stole should stay the same. drug users should not go to jail. people who sell drugs other than pot should go to jail and stay the same. murderers should me seed with circumstance(crime of passion same, murder kill, Flash Mob kill) if they just go to jail for minor infringements they should just stay a night in a county cell.

like stuff, theres a resion why there in jail i don't know they get fed, sleep, and get something for no good resion IF i  controled the jail i would give them HELL! one meal a day, if there any talking or yelling i would bet  the stuff out of them. And if they escape and we get them, forget forget the chair kill them slow and painful death. Thats my jail right there.
